new hair.
i got my hair cut and dyed. its a bit dark, but it’s supposed to just lighten up after a few washes. and the picture i set for my profile is styled the way my hairstylist styles it. but i’ll post another when its the way i normally have it.

so. my sister went back to school yesterday. it was unbelievably hard to say goodbye to her. she means the world to me…the world and more. we stood on the sidewalk and hugged for what seemed like a long time, but it ended too soon. she drove down the street and i followed her until she got too far.
i love her so much and i hope she knows that.
after that i headed over to pick up kaylee...

i went to west virginia on vacation with my family. i barely see my family during the year, so this was so nice and special. we stayed in Canaan Valley in West Virginia at this beautiful little house tucked away in the mountains.

a bunch of nothing. but then a fun family outing to the driveway to fix the roof of a car. some people stopped by interested in another car. we have too many of those. i had pizza and pasta with my dad and grandma, but the table was really quiet. i don;t like it when that happens, but my day was finished beautifully with a talk with elena. they always make me happy. she makes me happy.

it was a great day today.
i woke up and headed over to pick up elena at the oakland library. ended up seeing aggie and hannah, which was a pleasant surprise. i really appreciate small surprises like that. elena and i ate at lulu’s: crab rangoon and pad thai. yum!
then we went back to her place and [pretended to] work and took all of these pictures on my computer. like we used to.

so i haven’t blogged before, but i really want to give it a try because from what i understand, its like keeping a diary. but that hasn’t ever worked out too well for me. but this will, i know it.
